It has been a productive and busy year for our organization. We have been able to expand our scope and reach to bring exciting programs to underserved but deserving youth in the GTA.
We managed to put on workshops from Etobicoke to Scarborough to downtown Toronto.
Our TXDL instructors taught topics as varied as game design and development, web design and development, 3D modelling and augmented reality. We had great response and comprehension from our students and the programs were well received.
I want to personally thank our partners at TDSB, TCDSB, Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, Eva’s Phoenix and TWG for creating and maintaining synergies. We also have new partners and initiatives lined up and we will be announcing those as the dates come up.
We’d like to thank sponsors like TD, Toyota on the Park and the City of Toronto for their financial support.
As for 2018? We have big plans! Our mission statement will be ambitious and expanding. We want to have a bigger and permanent impact on the communities that we serve.
