Ready Set Go!
The Ready Set Go! program offers students a chance to experience open-ended engineering, design and programming challenges.
With the provided Edison Robot kits they will be able to build and program their own robots! Edison uses the Scratch Blocks code base developed by MIT. Scratch Blocks was built on the Blockly code base developed by Google.

MakeCode Arcade Workshop series
Facilitated in partnership with Microsoft Canada, the MakeCode Arcade workshop series was held across the GTA.

Pitch Your Tech Conference
Pitch Your Tech! was a conference designed to introduce racialized youth with an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) to 19 of Canada’s foremost leaders in tech.
Over 300 high school students from across the GTA met professionals from the fields of AI, Animation, VR, AR, Game Design, App Development, Financial Literacy, and more.

0:01 Launch series
0:01 LAUNCH was a six week immersive workshop where students learned game design and development as well as augmented reality.
Level Up series
This 5-week course gave youth a hands-on and practical introduction to creating interactive websites as well as designing and making digital games.
Level Up was a working introduction to HTML, CSS, Javascript, and the Unity game engine. Students left the course with their own interactive website hosting a playable game of their own design.

How To make a Video Game
In this 9 week TXDL program, students learned from a professional game developer. They made a video game from scratch, using the tools that the pros use.
